That is good news, with better players around him that last season, it will be interesting to see how he performs.
The question is, if Matty does come back in; can you drop Gedo or Boyd? What happens when Sone Aluko comes back... ARGHHHH so confusing!!
hmm Matty will have to play in the reserves just to get anywhere near match fitness. Recovering from the injury is only a small part of being able to play again.
IMO, Matty Fryatt should only be used off the bench for the rest of the season regardless. He can be game a changer. We have no need to start Fryatt in any remaining game. Fryatt to score the goal against Cardiff City that gets us the Championship Title.
That's right and it should not surprise anyone that the manager (according to Quinn in interview) has been praising Quinn's workrate but telling him (in a good way) that he should score more - there are some very good ways of using recovering players to motivate todays selection. Can't wait to see Quinn given a chance to shine in this squad, he will have some very good games to reappear in - but, and I totally agree on this, he should be off the bench as we need to give him a decent lead-in and we do not want to squander subs at this stage. It's a credit to him and the medical/fitness team that he is so far forward - our set-up seems to be very well established.
Yes welcome back Matty, lets hope everything goes well for him now, hopefully if he gets match fit and then he gets on the bench, i hope he stays there for the rest of this season which would mean our present strikers are doing there jobs well
