Newcastle have apparently again done well this season. Congratulations. We are having a ****e season apparently. Poor Sunderland. However, if they had lost last night, there is actually a mere 3 points between us. Is 3 points really the difference between success and failure? By Sunday tea time we could just as easily be above them once again. Where does that leave the forecasting brigade?
Had they not bought we'll in January they were heading for the championship, fair play to them for identifying the problems and acting accordingly, that's all it takes, a good transfer window, it's something we need to do in the summer.
