I'm predicting a win basing it on hoping that given that we are playing a big team it will give some of our players a kick up the backside. After all we have performed brilliantly against the big sides this season again, and I expect no different this weekend.

P.S. Good start by Arsenal tonight <ok>

Can't really use that game as an assessment of our current performances Dai for very obvious reasons.

At the same time we cant use that excuse for losing so easily. they are squad players at the end of the day , the ones chosen in our final squad for the season and should be able to give any opposition a game. Arsenal like they showed tonight are on top of their game while we are not as effective in recent games, I want to see us at least match the masters of the passing game and get back to do what we can do best. our passing has been going astray more than usual and we cant do that against arsenal who will pass us off the park....tremell in goal for me as he is much better commanding the box and better at set pieces and i expect arsenal to get plenty of those...We need this win to peg them and others back and get into the top 6....

    Swans 2 Arsenal 0 <ok>

Hopefully the exertions of the Gunners in beating Bayern Munich will take its toll and a fresh Swans side will be too much for the North London outfit. De Guzman and Ki to score.

that should not be an issue for a top team like arsenal though. they will be fired up if anything after that game so we had better get our act together or we will have a difficult time.

I fancy us for this game, we are starting to be the Gunners boggy team, and as long as we don't put the old timer in the back line up, I'll fancy us to win 2-1! Come on you Swans, get in there...................<cheers>

PS: Did I mention that Podolski and Wilshere won't be playing!! Make that 3-1......................

I agree with Dai on this one. Since Flores got injured there has been a serious dip in performance. I don't know whether it's due to his injury or because of other things, but I see no reason why they would play any differently than they have the last 4-5 matches (not including the cup final). I think it's gonna be tough, I obviously hope I'm wrong.

G'day Swans. Hope it's a cracking match like the one at the liberty last season, with an Arsenal win, of course. I personally think it will be a draw though.
Good luck for the rest of the season and make sure to take some points off Spurs when you play them in a few weeks time ;)

Monk is playing not Bartley. Scratch the win. Bartley must have really pissed people off or is injured.

Bartley is on the bench. If I was him and I couldn't get the nod over a 34 year old I'd be thinking WTF.

Looking pretty good so far. No blunders from Monk yet (knocks on wood)

Pretty even game, if you ask me, Michu has missed two good chances, and Hernadez passing is poor, lets hope we play better second half, otherwise I can see the Gunners winning this!.............<ok>
