    Marc Gene says there was a small problem with Alonso's engine earlier and but it was nothing to worry about . Presumably thats why Alonso just did another installation lap.

    Wish I'd decided to have an early night and get up for FP2 now. FP1 has been a non-event so far. Cannot believe the number of Chilton interviews. "Max, you've done a lap, how was it?" then "Oh we'd better let you go, your team want you to do another lap, how exciting! We'll speak to you after" <doh>

    I disagree, as resident Pic-alot (which I realise makes me sound like a cheap voyeur), I think Charles showed a lot of potential last season, and I think he'll comfortably outperform van der Garde and Chilton. Bianchi will be closer competition.
