Why do Leeds have such a terrible record in the FA cup?

Can't remember the last time they reached a cup semi. Even mill wall and chesterfield do it more regularly.

I will give you a clue why Leeds' record in the cup is so bad.

Clue 1: Seven letters

Clue 2: it begins with C and you have never beaten them in a cup tie

 

Yep, Leeds cup record is so bad because of Chelsea. Chelsea were the reason non league Histon knocked us out & Chelsea were the reason Man city knocked us out this year. In fact, every year its been Chelseas fault.

LOL. Ken was pretty useless at Chelsea too. Made a lot of money out of us though. £5,000 cash on matchday every day in expenses from the box office sent up to his office in the 80s and 90s. How did he get away with it?

I used to work with a Chelsea fan, born locally and held a season ticket for 30 years, even through the very dark days. He stopped going around 2004 because he couldn't afford the inflated ticket prices and was fed up with the nouvelle fans who suddenly turned up when Abramovich took over. He sums up what has happened to Chelsea - they sold their soul and bought a load of trophies by spending vast amounts of money on mercenaries. They are struggling now because teams like Man City have even more cash than them. The Premier League is no longer about ability, but ability to pay for success. If I was a "real" Chelsea fan I would be profoundly depressed.

I think you should come back and have a discussion when Roman calls it a day...because he will at some point. Going to be hilarious to see Blue Scum disappear up their own arses as the realisation sets in that they are genuinely a nothing club as they always have been, have nothing of the respect and history of proper clubs like Spurs and Arsenal. "Doing a Pompey" springs to mind, let's see where all the so called Chelsea fans disappear to then.
