Another loss... What happened with the market leaders... Oscar Whisky ran like he was on Whisky... Reve De Sivola was pushed along from a long way out... Bog Warrior faded up the hill... Dont know what to think...
What a strange race but cracking ride from PC and great run from Solwhit. Bog Warrior didn't stay as predicted and Reve is too slow on good ground these days. As for Oscar Whiskey...rank run, beaten passing the stands first time..never went a yard.
Don't know what's going on with Nicholls, he's had a few places but his so called fancies are running like drains. Does he still have a satellite yard?
What I have to laugh about was the media questioning hurricane fly all those years with "what did he beat" "only Solwhit again"
When interviewed earleir he said that he always gets going on the 2nd, 3rd days. But he has to be worried now. Nothing even looks like getting him near the places let alone win owt... Maybe peaked a bit early in the season but somethings not right at the mo...
Tizzard's are having a cracking festival, I for one hope it continues in the next race with Theatre Guide
Celestial Halo ran well above expectations, so not convinced there not right. I think it's more to do with his horses just not being as good as they were a few years ago
Odd position in the next race. Walkon is my fancy and is backed in singles and a double with Cue Card but I'll get a bigger payout if Theatre Guide wins. Come on Theatre Guide I guess!!
Bog Warrior led them a merry dance but so many failed to deliver in the World Hurdle, Oscar Whisky nowhere to be seen! Well done to Solwhit backers, he often gave Hurricane Fly a run for his money over two miles. Ted Walsh using colourful language.
yep was thinking more about wonderful charm had actually deleted that comment when i remembered Celestial Halo. Thinking more that the ones he's been bigging up, Wonderful Charm, Sam Winner, Saphir de rheu have run too bad to be true
