Back to business that opens up a couple of nice doubles Cue Card x Theatre Guide (same connections) and Cue Card x Walkon. Both of those run in the 4.00.

    Ta Swanny,

Sizing would be beaten half a furlong imho.

In today's biggest news Make Your Mark runs in the Martin Pipe off 133 with additional claim. 20/1 last night. I'm on large.

Agree with you Boston Bob. Reckon Russel stood down to be right for tomorrow - huge day for him and with a horse that has a serious chance.

And a timely advert for Captain Chris (though I'm not convinced he had the beating of Cue Card at Ascot before his error).

I fancy Bog Warrior in the world hurdle. He's been in good form since his switch back to hurdles.

I've always been fond of Oscar Whisky, and had he won the Cleeve, I would have been inclined to side with him, but I think his defeat there was more proof that he doesn't quite stay 3 miles, and his class got him as close as he got

I tried to cover my losses with a cheeky EW on Albertas Run.

    How stupid was that?

I think I've had the worst betting week of my life.

Reve De Sivola to take the World Hurdle... It wont make me rich, but a return would be the first for the day...

I don't really agree but regardless I don't think there's ever been a case of the 'wrong' Cue Card turning up. He's never lost a race he should have won imho.

Reve De Sivola for me too - beat Oscar Whisky fair and square in the Cleeve and would be fav if he was with Henderson or Nicholls (well pre-festival Nicholls at least)
