Afternoon all, Liverpool fan here. As i'm sure you are aware, Southampton take on Liverpool on Saturday afternoon in the Premier League. Over on the Liverpool board, i've done a match thread for Saturday's game which includes the latest injury news and my own preview of the game. It does give us a chance to get some good pre-match chat/banter going in what is an important game for both sides.

Hi Chris, Thanks I would love to participate in a dual match thread, I miss these from the old 606. However, I dare not go on to the Liverpool board as unfortunately a few of the posters are so petty that they spend their time destroying your reputation if you disagree with them. Good luck for the rest of the season , are you optimistic after the last result?
The rep thing is a bit strange but as long as you aren't on the most blatant WUM mission ever, I don't see why that would happen. You are more that welcome to come across to our board if you wish! - I'm reasonably optimistic but not too confident. We've had a run of good results & performances but the Liverpool of the last 3 years or so has the habit of chucking in an awful performance and result just as we are looking to string some good results together. Think that's why most Liverpool fans aren't too confident of a win on Saturday. If we play to the best of our ability, i'm confident we'll get a good result but if we're off our game somewhat and you play like you can (See the home game with Manchester City) you're more than capable of getting a result. I'll go for a Liverpool win (My general positivity for Liverpool takes over at this point! ) but it won't be an easy game. A 1-0 or 2-1 Liverpool would be my bet. Think you'll stay up whatever happens on Saturday. You've got what i'm sure you'll see as more 'Winnable' games (Reading, West Brom & probably Stoke) and you should be alright. Will be interesting to see how you do next season under Pochettino.
Hi Chris, I will try my luck once again... A lot of people see this as a close game but to be honest we are not scoring many for the first time this season whereas Liverpool are on the crest of a wave and are scoring freely. I see Suarez and Sturridge grabbing a couple. As for winnable games, I think Stoke at home on the last day of the season is not the worst fixture but I think we need three more wins. If we could get a win against Reading that would be massive but who knows who they will have in charge by then!
What would there be to talk about on the Liverpool board? Apparently we are arrogant and deluded for even suggesting Saints should try to compete with Liverpool. They must all be outraged this match is even allowed to take place.
