The Lions have games against our rivals - away (Leicester) and home (Palarse and Watford)....... However, they've just beaten Blackburn to get into the FA Cup semi.....does that mean they might ease up on League games and try for the silverware (and more appearances at Wembley)?
We eased up in January and now find that we need a few points to keep away from the relegation pack. Leicester is on telly(we play well on the box) plus they gazumped us to take Chris Wood of us, so we will be up for that one, We have never beaten Watford since Kenny Jackett took over, so i'm sure he'd want to take some points of them now and Palace is a local derby and our last home game of the season now, so to beat them and mess up their promotion hopes would be a nice end to our league season.
From memory the Millwall v. Crystal Palace game will have to be re-arranged as it was for the weekend of the semi's. I would think that Jackett will use the "fear" of being dropped as the motivation tool. Well done to the Lions last night - but what a shocking rabble Blackburn Rovers have become. Appleton to be sacked in the summer me thinks. They are getting closer to relegation as well. Just checked. Yes there Palace game has to be changed. Millwall home to Watford the night we are @ Wolves. Forest go to Millwall on the 27th april and Lesta away for them is friday 29th march.
DJ is supposedly paid 25k a week but I don't know how much of that Blackburn pay, however what I do know is that he hasn't scored for them yet!
Despite where they are in the league Millwall are capable of beating anyone I reckon. They have blown hot and cold. The've lost at home to ****ty wolves but they've drawn with watford and palace and beaten leeds, boro and lester
If he keeps going like this he willbe looking for another club in the summer and certainly not one who will pay anything like £25k. Maybe his agent needs to find a club that do good lunchies instead ? I wonder who will go in for Jordan Rhodes in the summer. The boy looked totally un-interested last night like many did. I wonder if the Danny Murphy situation had split the dressing room ?
Over the 2 games, Danny ****tu won 68 headers and Beavers won 42 - yet they still pumped it long down the middle - the are paying Pederson £48k per week and he'd struggle to get in a League 2 team. I'm sure the Venky's can afford it, but is that what a £45M per year wage bill gets you ?
Unfortunately Stan, the Palace game was due to be played on the Semi-final weekend, so now will have to be moved, so the only date available would be Tuesday 30th April as we are fully booked now until then
