Good News Another point gained. 6 points and one game ahead of Watford (the one that matters), Bad News There is no bad news, we are still in a great position, you didn't expect anything different after all these years did you? Hi-Yo!
It's still ours to throw away, although we seem to be trying our best to do that. Another good point gained, would just love that game in hand to be a win. We need a win soonest to calm the nerves!
agreed, another point gained. As long as we keep picking up points like this we will reach the finishing line. But, were has our mojo gone? we are a shadow of our former selves right now, at least they don't know when to give up which is why we will cross that line. A win at wednesday on saturday would set it up nicely
Dropped two points, but still gained one. No reason to worry just yet. The premier league is in sight now
I had to laugh at all the idiots that were leaving before we scored! Stay until the final whistle & support CCFC!!
Never understood people leaving early......even more baffling when the result is not a forgone conclusion
A point gained from another very average performance. But stay positive we are still in the driving seat and when we win a couple of games again the finish line will be in sight. Four wins and a couple of draws will do it.
i sit in an area with a few seats for people buying tickets, and some left with 10 minutes to go....... pathetic really and serves them right!......
You should have won based on the commentary I was listening to last night but we have also been poor lately.
Leicester were the better team overall and probably gutted at not winning. It was pretty even until half time when we lost our captain and right winger through injury. Leicester well on top in the second half until you scored and then we, at last, changed up a gear. However, we have a never say die attitude not seen here for a while and had 3 good chances in the closing minutes. Our big French sub made the difference having won several aerial battles with Morgan and Keane before scoring.
You'll need to get used to that if we go up. We were pretty hopeless on the whole last night. What encouraged me was that we played to the final whistle and never gave up. Also Malky rarely makes substitutions at half time, but he effectively admitted his 1st half tactics were poor and changed them.
CD Malky didn't have much choice in the matter. Hudson was injured and had to go off. Noone took a bad knock early on and suffered for it. I suspect there was no choice but to sub him as well. Both he and Hudson were limping heavily around the pitch after the game and must be very doubtful for Saturday. Of course all those leaving so bloody early will not have seen that as well as missing the goal. I totally agree with Swamp regarding people leaving before the end. I just don't get it. People spend on average 30 minutes to an hour getting to a game and will have a similar journey home. The game last for 90 mins plus a few added time minutes and 15 minutes half time. That is 3 to 4 hours of their time invested in the game and yet they bugger off 10 minutes before the end just to be first back to the car/train/bus. Why do they bother coming in the first place?
I reckon 86 points will just be enough for you. If Watford maintain their form that has been consistent since January, we'll get 84 points. Hull should get 84/85, Palarse 82. Cardiff should get there with a game to spare. But..... 1) A bit of slip really, looking at Leicesters recent form. Last night kind of made up for our disappointment against Blackpool. A drawa was probably best result for Hull/WFC/Palarse. 2)what fun if we are all together on last day of season. Then I'd much rather be us (WFC) than Cardiff,Hull or Palarse (who have to face Peterboro, who might still be trying to survive). WFC have got Leeds, who should be hoping for the seasons end (another failure for such a massive club, shame). and we all know who Cardiff & Hull play. Anyway, thanks for being so encouraging!
I got a chap in the row in front of me always comes 5 mins into the game, off 5 mins before half time to get a pint, comes back 5 mins into the second half and leave 5 mins before the end. Half the row are up and down like a hookers knickers, I think he should stay in the pub.
Five minutes is a long time Dave. I can make love with two women in that time, with heavy petting included with one only! Hi-Yo Dave!
you say no bad news????? what about going from 11 points ahead to just 4 in a short space of time, that surely must be a concern as if the trend continues then that will put you in the playoffs at the end of the season......the business end is just about to start where you must not be to complacent or you could well bottle it again and you dont want that do you....
