It's great to have four great strikers. They are all playing important parts in our season so far. Our two main striker's, Van Persie and Rooney's partnership is one of the best. A lot of people saying we always rely on Van Persie, in the last few weeks showed that we don't rely in one player, all the other striker's chipped in with goals too. I remember people saying "when Van Persie doesn't score for few games we will be struggling in the league", in the last few weeks proved them wrong because when Van Persie ain't scoring for few games, We got Rooney who stepped in and started scoring few goals too. It's all about team work, hopefully our striker's helps us win the two games before the city game. I know Van Persie's goal scoring form has been off recently because of burn out but he's a world class player, im sure he will start banging in them goals soon. Rooney's form has been great so far, hopefully he doesn't get injured anymore and continues his form. I've read the stupid nonsense comments from the Rooney haters ( especially them scouser fans) thats Rooney has been bad this season and h'e no longer good, these comments are just stupid, they don't know what they are talking about, Rooney who missed alot of games this season due to injuries and illness, he still managed like 15 assists and like 14 or 15 goals, in an injury hit season, that is pretty impressive. Hernandez who has now got 15 goals has also been in a good form, he's our predator. If he's given a chance he will take it. I know Danny Welbeck has only 2 goals this season but he made good contribution to the team as well and also he did play on the wing most of the games he played this season too. Apart from goals, in the other part of play such as helping the team, he has been good, He is a team player. he is also Vital player for us. If we do win the league this season, our four striker's will always be remembered by our fans just like our four striker's in 1999 season. how do you compare our fantastic four 2013 to our fantastic four in 1990? which one do you prefer?
well to be fair to Welbeck in 1999 Sheringham only scored 4 goals over the season, and two of those came in the last two games, FA Cup final and of course the famous Champions league final goal. On the whole though its nice to have a balanced and varied strike force, more so than the one in 1999 but then again both had their pros and cons. It would be nice to see both Rooney and Hernandez hit 20 goals, and both Welbeck and RVP to bag a good few more before the end of the season to really press things home
agreed, Im sure Van Persie would start scoring goals again. Rooney he is on 14 or 15 goals so far and in the last 10 games or so, he is capable to score 20 goals. Hernandez could also score 20 goals too and some vital goals too. If we do win the league " fingers crossed we do" every single player in our team has played an important role.
