    Died yesterday aged 69.

    I liked Gubba.

Only quite young really, of a 'short illness'.

    RIP

I was going to post this yesterday. Sad news.

I liked TG too - he seemed to commentate on everything.

    RIP

I liked him because he always reminded me of my late Dads good friend Jim.

    Great bloke is Jim.

Jim is still alive, just thought I'd clarify that for you.

Has been doing Dancing on Ice for some time (drove me mad I'm sorry to say on that programme, but the missus loves it) and until recently at that - sad and scary.

Gubba was Ok as a commentator.

Better then Motson - but I hate Motson and his faux excitability.

Favourite is Jon Champion on ESPN but he has that Geordie gob-****e Waddle with him most games which annoys me.

Once sat next to him on the London/Manchester shuttle.
Seemed like a nice friendly bloke.
Gone too soon and will be missed.

R.I.P. one of those you grew up with like Sinstadt, Davies and the rest. I used to like Motty but think he is biased towards London teams, it showed when we were in the Prem when he kind of disregarded us several times in favour of West Ham on Five-Live. Chris Waddle is the worst commentator I've ever heard.

Same here - but the wife did notice that there was a different commentator for the last couple of weeks and now we know why. RIP Tony

Think he might have passed away, he got into a bit of a trouble at a cinema which didn't help his career but he was a decent commentator

He was allegedly caught having a **** in a porno cinema.

I never knew such a thing existed.

Wouldn't that be the point of a porno cinema?

    We need to be told.

    Is that it?

A crafty jodrell whilst watching a bit of Johnny Vaughan at the pictures.

Thank **** for that, I thought he'd something wrong.
