FA Cup semi final mate (so far), he is at a tiny club who are already punching above their weight just being in the premier league and on a shoestring budget as well. Instead of looking at what he has achieved, look at the style of football he plays, its along the floor, it's quick, modern, attacking. Bring that to Sunderland with better quality of players and a bigger budget, I reckon he could really push himself out there if he were giving a chance with us. MON has achieved a great deal and has a great CV, what has that got us? Peter Reid came along relatively unproven with his manager skills and achieved nothing in the game as a manager, look what we done with him.
Agree wholeheartedly with this, I'm a confessed fan of Martinez. Facts are that MON is/has been a great gaffer, but it simply isn't working. That said, I'm not suggesting we sack him, I feel that would be suicide at the minute.
