With the summer now gone, and the winter months ahead of us most snooker players will be back practising in their local preparing for the new snooker league season in front of them. But how many acutally are coming back...???

Ive played in the local leagues for over 25 years now and the snooker scene has changed big time from then to now. I suppose im lucky in the fact that i have 4 leagues all within easy range to get to play in. One league had 6 divisions of 12 teams 10 years ago, now down to 4 divisions of 12. My local club had 4 teams playing in one of the leagues ive played in once over. And another one had a waiting list for teams wishing to enter the league, now we have to ask and chase clubs to see if they are entering a team. Its a story that seems to be happening elsewhere as well...

We hear that snooker is being given a new lease of life from Barry Hearn, and to be honest within the professional game it is. I personally know a couple of Pros and they all seem to be happy with the changes, but its the amateur leagues that are suffering. And it dosnt look like changing for the better anytime soon...

The clubs that i visit to play at just dont have the new faces turning up to even get started playing the game, let alone become any good at it. Most clubs and snooker halls are struggling to stay open in this current climate, so that shows no new blood is going into these places. So what is happening...

It would be nice to hear from any other leagues to see if they are struggling to get people to play, or even if its booming where you are...

All comments would be appreciated... Thanks...

The next best thing to do if you can't find perfect - is create perfect.
Simple Fix
Once you have found that nearly perfect top, why not add some silk or fresh flowers that will match or compliment the colors in the cake that you commissioned? In many cases you can do this yourself or have your florist do it

Other About Tiffany Bracelets Tiffany Necklaces Tiffany Earrings Tiffany Sets Tiffany Accessories Tiffany Rings Tiffany Pendants Tiffany Bangles Tiffany Charms ecommerce, open source, shop, online shopping Login blog

About bluetiffany.org blog

Too many pool leagues and a pool table is far too easy to access in a pub

Agree with you propoly its also about the size of the table. Its easy to get a pool table in the back room of a pub where as a snooker table takes up about 4 times the room with the cue room taken into consideration
