Thing is, the teams below you have to win 2 matches more than you and draw one more at the very least for you to go down. Being realistic, is that actually possible (not looked at fixtures)
Anything is possible with us mate even that, look at the gap only 5 short games ago between ourselves and your lot said then we would **** it up and they didn't disappoint.

Maybe however it is a huge ask for the teams below you to out score you by 7 points. I know logical reasoning can fly out the window during panic season (I have been there and I fully understand) however these teams are bottom for a reason. You only need 5 to 7 points to stay up.
Think 9 even 10 points mate to be certain. Wigan always finish well QPR are stringing results together, Reading are very good at home and Southampton are up for the fight watching our lot I'd be worried if they had a wet paper bag to get out of.
They are in a bit of a purple patch but they all have tough fixtures. You guys might be playing badly but can you conceivably play any worse? It would take a massive swing for you to get relegated and even Marty can't cock this up. Also, you are nearer the top 10 than you are to the relegation zone. Why no talk of top 10? Sure it would seem silly but looking at the league, it would make more sense! You can't get any worse it the crux of what I am saying although a win against Norwich would help.
Get what you are saying mate but being as this is Sunderland there is a very good chance we will **** it up. We have been here too many times on the past not to get a bit twitchy about the drop zone. Personally I think we will be okay or maybe that is just hope we will be okay, part and parcel of being a Sunderland fan unfortunately.
wigans game in hand also concerns me, not easy winning 3-0 at everton, and they know how to survive, won 7 of there last 10 games last season to do it, qpr i think will get out of it looking at there fixtures and the way they are playing so for me its critical we beat norwich

I remember that well, 0-0 at SOL, playing only Fletch up front, we could easily have lost that one. It was a great chance for Marty to play Connor and Fletch up front in a 4-4-2 formation. May have changed our season.
