Don't know if this has already been posted but:- There will be a new Tigersâ Fans Liaison & Advisory Group (FLAG), whose first meeting will be held at the KC Stadium on Friday 15th March at 14:00. I understand the aim of FLAG is similar to the old FLC (Football Liaison Committee) â to enable fans groups to have a voice with the club. If ever this Group is needed, itâs now. Have HCFC been in contact with the mods on here, and if so, what was the outcome? If they haven't, should they have been?
I've spoken to Nick Thompson about being on it, but not as a representative of this forum really. Peter Johnson of the OSC was tasked with drawing up a list of candidates and I believe he's contacted certain people from various forums, Amber Nectar and CI.
Sorry to be a ****, but I HATE it when people call us 'HCFC' it's HCAFC, always has been and always will be.
I've not even been asked. After they took all my suggestions at the end of last season, and seeing the consequent upturn in the club's fortune, I consider this snub a disgrace. I would not even wipe my arse with this so called flag.
Let's look at my advice: 1. Sack Adam Pearson 2. Sack Nick Barmby 3. Stop playing McKenna. He's ****. 4. Start playing McShane All of which happened, all of which has benefitted the club. I then get snubbed by this so called flag.
Have you managed to get them to re-employ Bullard yet? Must have a few miles left in them glass knees, surely
The sunday best name is Hull City Association Football Club Limited. As discussed recently, no one in their right mind would abbreviate that to HCAFC Co Ltd, hence the widespread adoption and common usage of HCFC since the early 70s. Apologies to the pedants and the Johnny Come Lately chappies, but that's how it was.....
That assuming you ignore the club logo, the badge on the shirt, the name of the official website and every other common usage of the club name and simply want to irritate people by posting mildly irritating nonsense. Which has worked, to a point.
I would refer the right honourable gentleman to the many previous discussions on this topic. There is universal accord on the club's legally registered name, its crest, its letterheading, its website and so on. That is not the issue. The issue is the common usage.
