QPR season ticket prices set to rise by 35 per cent

QPR season tickets are set to rise by a staggering £250 for the most expensive option when the Championship winners take on the Premier League in August.

We have learned there was even a discussion at top level considering a 90 percent rise on all 2010-11 prices – before a modest 35 percent increase was agreed.

Fans ready to make a dent in their credit cards when the details are officially announced next week will need to know there are just 400 more season tickets available than last season.

Around 8,600 had a regular view of Rangers’ winning campaign in the second tier of English football – but only 9,000 will be available for those wanting a guaranteed entry to the mouth-watering clashes with west London rivals Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool and the other 15 clubs.

Hi Northolt (assuming you are same Northolt from 606!). That's about what I expected. I paid £560 for a gold seat. I suspected they would add the 10% they took off and then some. Comes in at about £750 for me. £24 per hour. SOme were hoping for a freeze as a thank you to fans but that was NEVER going to happen.

I did not expect a freeze but 35% is a trifle steep

I paid in full last year, but was there an interest free scheme spread over the season?
35% is a helluva leap, to be honest I was expecting 10 maybe 15% tops.
But why such a high increase? What are we expecting more of?
I reckon there will only be a about 7 or 8 14k plus attendences, so extra policing shouldn't be a problem.
    35% their having a laugh!!!
Behave or we will have attendences of 10-14k for all other matches
We're promoted to the Premier League...not the feckin' Champions League!!!!

    Its disgusting in all honesty.
Yes they were going to go up but I got a 1% pay rise this year.
I think this shows how we desperately need a new stadium so we can have more fans in every game and keep prices down to a sensible level.
I'm sure most die hard fans would not be able to afford these sort of prices.

Also seems a steep rise considering there will actually be 4 less matches than in the Championship, although I will concede the quality is a touch better!!
