Barnsley play all the top seven sides in their next ten games. Looks like their performances will have a major say in who goes up. Scarey for their supporters too. Lets hope our fellow Yorkshire side does us a few favours as Leeds and Wednesday did yesterday.

Don't think we can expect any help from that direction.
Think their heads will have dropped after yesterday.

They're only a point from safety and will be scrapping for everything. At least after yesterday they can "concentrate on the league". I think they'll take points from at least two of our rivals.

Getting Scotland in could make a massive difference for them over all these games. I wouldnt bet against them in any game tbh.

To be fair, I think the scoreline flattered Manchester City a little bit. Barnsley had their moments in the game, especially the 2nd half. That Jacob Mellis looks a bit of a player too; carved out a few opportunities for himself.

Well not McShane, I'd expect to see him come in against Burnley in place of Bruce. Wait, what am I saying? If Alex Bruce doesn't play, nobody gets to play. His dad'll stick a knife in the ball and tell everybody to go home.

ManC was a totally different dimension; they will be out for pride and will be dangerous.

Barnsley will have a big influence on our season have no doubt. That defeat yesterday wont matter one jot. They will be fighting for their lives to stay up and prior to that game they had been doing well in the Championship.

With them fighting for safety , I think that gives them strength and they're scoring plenty so I expect them to take points

The same goes for POSH I reckon, they seem to play very well against the top teams and still have to play palace, watford, cardiff...

I just wonder how significant the last day will be. I'm glad we're playing at home and potentially against a team that will already be promoted.

Do we want Cardiff to beat Leicester tomorrow?

I have faith in our squad, so a Foxes win is fine by me. :emoticon-0105-wink:

I think we should focus on 2nd spot and not Cardiff. if they falter and open another position up then that's gravy but they probably won't lose enough points to do so... so I would say a draw is the best vs lester.

Dont be daft. Why would we want Rosie in the shop window ? FFS, he still has a massive role to play here.

As for Barnsley, I can see them getting a home draw with Brighton tomorrow night.

If Hull City win tonight then either a draw or a Lesta win would be best for us.
