Go on then Seagull, I'll post it up. So who was your man of the match? Not an easy choice in my book.

I've gone for Hoillett. I think he set the pace early on and set the precedent thereafter. Always a threat.

If it was judged after 45 mins then Hoilett, but I thought he faded a lot in the second half. I'm torn between Bosingwa, Mbia and Townsend, but I think, for that goal along with everything else he did, it is Townsend for me.

    I've gone for Bosingwa.

Didn't put a foot wrong all afternoon.

Townsend was a close second followed by Park, Hill, Zamora and M'Bia.

Everybody did well. Just happy we played well as a team.

    Townsend for me.

Bosingwa and Hoilett had their best games for us and long may it continue.

Multiple candidates, went for Mbia because he was so much better than he has been, and really kept the centre solid whilst Park buzzed around. Moved the ball quickly and positively.

This team has a lot of attack minded players, it was great to see what they can do when allowed to go for it a bit.

    MOM - Townsend
Joint runners-up Hoilett (can we perhaps spell his name correctly?) & Bosingwa

All unsung heroes, Hoilett in particular, who really looks up for it now. He doesn't need to dive though to get decisions - he always had bags of ability, perhaps just needed the confidence (maybe former team-mate Samba helps in this area), but please stay on your feet and keep weaving your way through to goal.

It has to be Townsend surely?!
He offered more an attacking threat than taarabt has shown this this season, whilst working for the team.
A wide man who can not only take a man on but beat him AND create a chance is what we've desperately needed this season, and I hope that Townsend can repeat this performance, as that may well prove the difference!!

I had to pick Townsend, that goal was the main difference between the teams

Yes, no show-boating tricks with him, just skill, stamina and supreme work effort.

My lad said to me that Mbia must have borrowed someone else's feet, as his passing was so good today. Played really well. Very attacking team from Harry and it paid off. Not sure we'll see that formation at Villa though.

I think we should start with the same eleven and let Asston Ville worry about us
    If Zamora is fit

Very difficult - all who started apart from Park, Green, Favio and BZ have good shouts today, plus Jenas whose goal was the best of them all for me. Mackie and SWP both did great when they came on too. Can't vote without multiple choice.

To develop this into a mini league for the remainder of the season, as suggested by Seagull, what do you reckon?

5 points to the MOM, 3 for second place, 1 for third? Or give a greater advantage to the winner?

Thought it should be a team award...everyone worked their socks off.....Two that impressed me and not mentioned too much Samba (who was just so quietly solid...so nice to say that) and Fabio who always seem to be on an overlap. But I went for Townsend in the end ...because I have waited years to witness a Rangers player to score a goal like that, so poised, so accurate and just when we needed it

Just think of what DT's team would do to teams lads:

    ..................Green...................

    Bosingwa......Busstop.........Traore

    ....................Mbia...................

    SWP...........Granero..........Hoillet

    .......Townsend.......Taarabt........

    ....................Remy..................
