It's setting up to be a tight and exciting end to the season at both ends of the table. The fight for the top 6 has been going strong all season, but a faltering Leicester and a strongly emerging Forest and Bolton is presenting new challenges and of course there is the juggling of 2nd spot between a trio of teams. A few weeks ago, it looked like a four way fight for relegation between Barnsley, Bristol, Peterborough and Wednesday and now anyone from Derby in 15th downwards could well go down this season. It will be interesting to see how different or similar the table looks in 8 weeks time.

If we can get a win against both Burnley and Forest, then that will put out a strong message to the others around us.

Promotion is there if we want it.

Forget the bogey stuff, just go and win some games.

It's now apparent the 2 autos will come from the current top 4, with Cardiff odds-on to take one of those spots. They have 6 home games left, as opposed to
Watford and Palace who have only 4 each (although in Watford's case their away form is as good as their home).
If we can sneak into second, or third on GD, after Monday then we'll have 5 home games left - that should put us in the driving seat for an auto.

The other 2 play-off spots look like being any team from Leicester, Brighton, Forest and Bolton.

Relegation is wide open especially if Peterboro and Barnsley pick up points from their game(s) in hand but I have a feeling the current bottom 4 will stay in those positions - take your pick 3 out of 4.

I wish we weren't playing Burnley on Monday, despite the fact they're ****, our record against them is shocking.

Ideally, we'd have the Forest home game first, three points, more pressure on our rivals and a kick in the bollocks for one of the form teams.

After Watford's defeat today, a draw on Monday would be a good point.

I'd take a scrappy bloody awful 0-0 now to be honest.
