To be fair, we were ALL over the moon when we got Adam Johnson. It's easy being wise after the event. As for Cuellar being the worst centre half in the league...he's won a higher percentage of his tackles than any other player in the Premier League. He has won 86.8% of his 53 tackles won and has usurped Everton’s Phil Jagielka, who has won 85.2% of his challenges.
I was not happy with Johnson you can check back thru my posts I said from day one he is over rated and DGB is really banging them isn't he? We noe have two midfielders playing full back who are not very good defenders and they get no protection because both johnson and sess are lazy players who do not like to track back, Dreading derby day with this bunch and our manager who lets face it is clueless.
Although not put across great, I can see the point in the OP. It is beginning to show that MON has failed in what I would call his first 2 transfer windows of the summer and January. Agreed AJ was thought to be a great signing by the whole of the footballing community but for whatever reason he has let MON down, however with no left back to help him out he always has 2 sometimes 3 players to beat. However the amount of money spent on lets face face it, very average footballers is the worrying sign. How can our club feel like we are getting value for money when we spend nearly £35million on AJ, Fletcher, N'daiye & Graham? Again our scouting network comes under scrutiny and rightly so, Ellis Short should be taking some strong advice now on a proper network and pedal the ones we have at the minute (if any) as they are simply not doing their job and it is plain to see. Dont get me started on the style of football, where the hell is our identity as a club at the minute?
