You should only see the add's when you're not logged in, as soon as you log in they disappear, they are there to encourage people to post, rather than just be spectators. They have the added benefit of generating enough cash to cover the cost of hosting the site, Mick got £35 the day before yesterday in just eleven hours from people having the add's on their screens(though it was the busiest day so far on here).

If I was any good with computers I'd superimpose our new shirt on Zammo when he was off his head on skag and sent it to this Maguire bloke to see if he'd consider using it in a promotional campaign for our new shirt.

It could be a variation on a theme. One week Zammo, next week Nick Cotton and so on.We might even be able to get a posh smack head like Rupert Everett or something ??

Years ago there used to be a place on Bev. Road, by the Welly Club, which had tons and tons of old rubbish and ****e, just piled up on the forecourt.

    It was called.......GROCOCK'S.

What a pearler of a sponsor name on the front of a shirt!!!!

Been working in Cambridgeshire this week and saw a pet grooming salon called Doggy Style. Pity they not national could be good on the front of our shirt.

Not trying to wind anyone up here, but I think your new shirt looks awful. Stripes don't go high enough, horribly unsubtle black line running from the neck into one of the stripes and the Adidas stripes on the arms look out of place for once. Horrible lack of symmetry with Adidas logo in the middle and the HC badge on the left. And Cash Converters is a bit tacky, then again shirt sponsors are all tacky and horrid so no-one has any right to take the piss out of that.

If the Totesport deal was worth £300k a season in the Championship and £700k a season in the PL, if the new deal is worth £300k a season in the Championship and £800k a season in the PL then it would be our most lucrative deal ever, we'd just have to realise it.

What is a worry is that there's a 3rd year option and it still suggests it only nets us seven figures if we're promoted. That would mean it's less than £334k a year in the Championship. Doesn't sound an awful lot, you could put £20 on each season ticket and go sponsorless and be no worse off as a club so I'm quite sure we could have gone with a better sponsor and stuck £5 on the season tickets without any problems.

Don't worry, you can't wind people up by saying the same thing as them unless you do it in a funny voice every time they open their mouth.

I don't think the shirt is that bad, at least it's not made by Macron .

Not trying to wind anyone up but who exactly are Macron and where did they come from ?

All the shirts made by them I have seen have been truly awful, cheap and nasty at best.

They're from Italy, supplied kits for West Ham, Napoli and Braga among others so they're quite an up-and-coming venture I think. Just checked and they started supplying football kits in 2007. I'd rather we were with someone like Asics or Nike who make really nice kits but their home shirt for us last season was the best since the Premiership so I've got high hopes. Away one wasn't bad either, definitely a big hit with the replica shirt buyers. Awful, cheap and nasty at best is a very harsh description. Which shirts in particular are you referring to?

I particularly thought the West ham one looked poor, like something from the mid nineties. My lads football team had Macron shirts last season and I wasn't impresses with them either.

Just looked naff, his keeper shirt had great big diamond shaped patches on the elbows that looked like someone with special needs has stiched them on.

For me they look Sunday league standard, just my opionon mind.

Whilst I know this is the silly season for transfer talk but I seem to recall on one of these threads a few weeks ago Liam Rosenior being talked about with a view to moving on. Does the fact that he is staring in the club publicity shots for the new kit rule out a move?
Can't make up my mind about the kit but am looking forward to the away kit making the decision to buy one this season, or not, for me.

What a load of moaning old twaddle this thread is, stand up and back your club. Yes we may not agree with the sponsor, no you may not like the kit, but who cares this is our club and we support them no matter what! No back the decision, no amount of moaning can change this decision. I will buy this shirt, i don't hate it, i don't really like it like many of our shirts but knowing me like all the others i will just get used to it.

    UTT!

Not complaining about bad decisions is not supporting the club.
