I'm only 23, think my first game was a Division 3 match against Leyton Orient finished 1-1 in 1997 (got free tickets from football in the community), but it could have been before against Scarborough (my Dad says he took me, but buggered if I can remember it!). I remember my brother (now 18) got a tour of Boothferry Park at the age of 5 for his birthday and managed to get lost; lord knows how.

 

ok hands up im 48 first Tigers game was in 1976, work abroad far too much to see the mighty Tigers as much as i would like but my brother in law uses my pass when im nnot around so don't get wasted .

Sorry, too lazy to update the numbers. Glad to see there are others who were there before the South Stand and after the North.

 

As a matter of interest, or maybe not, I have the programmes for the very 1st match at Boothferry Park, and the very last match, I use to collect programmes along with autographs.

Great programmes,
I watched City v Darlington in 1949. They beat city 1-0 with an absolute runaway goal, City were camped in their half 99% of the game then Bowyer got the runaway goal . That was the first defeat of that season after winning the first 9 games. I have never liked Darlington since.

 

My first game was against Forest when Billy Bremner made his debut - 1976 I think. I became a season ticket holder in 1977, the season we were relegated for the first time in eons. Had I had an ounce of sense I would have not renewed the following season and taken up knitting or something. However, being an optimist I have spent the majority of my city supporting years thinking that one day we will play like Barcelona and I want to be there when that happens! Hence the continous renewal of the season ticket.

PS - Someone may have to explain to those at the bottom of the table what an "ounce" is

Can not remember first match but enjoyed the train journey.
Can remeber the NI v Portugal match.When was that at BP .
