The good thing about our style of play is you don't really need one main striker. Everyone can rotate, pass and move around the pitch and work their way around the pitch. Like Barcelona. They don't have any out and out striker, but they pass and move their way through their opponents and make chances for each other.

Assuming Cisse is still sick, I'd play this -

    ---------Sissoko------------

    Jonas-----Marv--------Gouff

    ----Cabaye----Tiote-------

    Santon--Mbiwa--Saylor--Debuchy

    -----------Elliot-------------

The front 4 wont be routed to their positions and can move around. If we play a flat midfield and lump balls up to a player, Stoke will have us where they want us. We need to keep it on the ground and rape Stoke.

Whats happened to Gouffran up front ? Surely he would be better up there rather than Sissoko ?

Nothing that I know of. He was ineligible for Europa, but should be back for the Stoke game. Or have I missed something?

Did you read what I said brah?

I said there doesn't need to be an out and out striker waiting for the ball, everyone can pass and move and create chances for each other, like Barcelona. They have no striker, but they work as a team to score goals.

Was thinking Sissoko was an odd choice to play up front myself.

    Too much Voddy maybe.

    Score predictions?

I am quietly confident (which will probably jinx it). Going for a 2-0 win.

    2-1 or 3-1 for me.

See what I feel like when I get to the game before putting a bet on.

Not really, all the bookies are being a bit mean.

I'll put a bet on in the ground when I start to soak up the atmosphere.

Think Saylor or Mbiwa might bag a goal in this one.

Often put a bet on an outsider to score. Done Saylor a time or two.

Santon & Debuchy have both had a few shots lately - I wonder what sort of price you'd get for either of them to sore if you're looking for an outside bet.

What's this Little Britain that you're talking about? Obviously before my time.

Too recent and trendy for you pops. You stick to your replays of Laurel and Hardy. <ok>
