I know why people would want to buy it when it does 0-70 in 2.8 seconds and is the fastest road car Lamborghini have ever made. Currently saving up for a Ferrari 599 GTO, it's a very long task (specially as I'm only contributing £10 and paddy power are making up the shortfall) but it will be well worth it in the end.
The Ariel Atom is quicker than that and it only costs £30k(though you do need to be a fan of open air motoring), the Veyron's quicker too.
I'd love one of those atoms, not much good unless you've got access to a track though, I suspect you'd be visiting hospital every day with a dislocated spine if you ever drove it on a public road. The Veyrons just a novelty, engineers dream yes, but it's a bit of a jack of all trades, bet the Lambo would leave a Veyron for dead round a track.
I got to drive an Atom at a track day last year. ****ing mental and scary as hell and I loved every minute (not that there were many...).
I've just been looking at this car in the flesh, it's parked in the lobby of my hotel. Most bizarre thing, is that in Hong Kong, there 100% tax on new cars, so someone must have spent $10m on it. There's a Ferrari parked next to it, in exactly the same colour and it looks twice the car.
'Your hotel'? Do you own it or are staying there? If it's the former I think that reg plate is yours afterall.
I own no hotels, unfortunately, though I have stayed in this one about eighty times, so they should really have given me it by now...
That lambo looks like a hot wheels car i used to play with down my drive with jimmy who thought it was fun to build a track into the toilet
Best looking sports car IMO was the Austin Healey 3000, might not be that quick, but it sure is a good looking car.
In spite of what I said earlier, I have to say that I do quite like cars in the style of the one from Shaun of the Dead*. Otherwise, cars can **** off. *Bill Nighy's
It does sound like you should at least have shares in it. Nearest I've come to owning a hotel is playing Monopoly.
"In the mood?" Christ Fossie are you due a telegram from the Queen? No wonder the little woman shuffles off at a pace!!
