I was at the rather grand 1884 on the Marina last night and was pleased to see Macca, Corry Evans and Chessie there and they seemed to be having some decent craic. I had always thought our players would be living in the wessie wonderland and was chuffed to bits to see them enjoying the delights of Hull. With Matty F giving up on East Yorkshire life and moving back towards Leicester, I just wondered how many of our fine players are actually living in the area. Of course we should not be specifying addresses etc but just of interest!
Chezzy lives in Kirk Ella, Corry was in Anlaby(as were all the Man United recruits when they first arrived), I'm not sure where Macca lives, he was buying a house from a mate of mine in Swanland, but he pulled out when he went on loan to Palace. Mclean's been living in Leeds, but I think most of the others are local.
I know for a fact that when all the Man United lads came to us they all lived together, it was Chesters house and Evans, Stewart, Brady, Dudgeon, all stayed there. They all referred to Chester as their dad It shows that he is/was the most mature out of them on the pitch I think.
McShane was living on Kingswood at one point! Elmo, Faye, Stephen Clemence and another coach all live in Willerby
No to mention Big Coffee and the hairdressers next door. Still see Ash's 4x4 often parked outside as well.
There are a few that live in the gated community in South Cave. Pretty sure Mark Cullen lives up there, he's always in the Chinese (no wonder he lacks the ability to play at this level if he's eating that ****e). Think Adam Pearson had a house up there and I heard somewhere that City had bought a couple of the houses for new signings to live in. So perhaps Boyd, Gedo and Fathi are up there. You do see an awful lot of 4x4s with blacked out windows coming out of there.
Matty Fryatt used to come into the shop, that i work in, to photocopy his drivers license. A lot of speeding tickets that lad.
Some of the lads live near Haltemprice - Cam Stewart's car is always parked on dive and I've seen macca and a few other lads outside (on my route home from work)
