Bloody Hell...I wanted to go the the Cliff R & Shadows gig but me mother wouldn't let me for some forgotten reason...never forgave her. Consolation was listening to Buddy Holly & Eddie Cochrane in my bedroom...

Queen in the late 70s .... Numerous times and never disapointed
    Springsteen as above never disappointed

Also went to see Keane last year with the Mrs (Didn't fancy the gig) BUT they were immense !

Without equal it has to be LIVE AID @ Wembley on 13th July 1985

But others that were fantastic include : - Queen @ the MK Bowl, Genesis @ Roundhay park, The Who @ Maple Leaf Gardens Toronto(1982) & @ the KC Hull. and Black Sabbath @ NEC Birmingham (when Ozzie re-joined the band) and RUSH @ MEN Arena.

Other smaller gigs that stand out for me were Queensryche in Nottingham and Deep Purple in Grimsby.

The Hull concert was better (apparently!) - my missus' hearing is still affected.

Oasis at Brid Spa before they split up, was pretty good.

Kings Of Leon at Donny Dome- hotest day of the year, came out 3 stone lighter and drenched in sweat.

The Strokes at Hull City Hall- class.

    Arcade Fire- MEN Arena.

Best Festival i've been to was Rock En Seine in Paris- Stereophonics, Arcade Fire, Queens of The Stone Age, Deadmau5, 2MANYDJs, Underworld, Cypress Hill, Massive Attack, two Door Cinema Club. There's been better line ups, but the weekend was class.

Hootie and the Blowfish - nottingham 1998. (best)

Saw U2 at Roundy (sp) park in Leeds 1993 - could hardly hear them, I think I was a mile from the stage !

Me too - but this was on another level. I've been to many small concerts. This tops the lot by a considerable distance.

Best small concert I've been to would have to be The Music @ Brid Spa, they were supported by Kings Of Leon!

Weller at Dalby forest (the first time) the weather was awful and the band, especially the boy himself, seemed to want to make up for it,simply awesome ! The second time round was a shadow of that !

I went to the Hit Man & Her Roadshow with Pete Waterman and Michaela Strachan at Romeos when I was in my youth.

London Boys, Big Fun and all the other SAW powerhouses of pop. That was the night that Sonia fell off stage whilst prancing about.

    Beat that if you can!!

can't decide. I have two that have stuck in my mind forever.

Hawkwind on the Space Ritual tour in 1972. Saw them at York Uni and Leeds Uni. Anyone else remember Stacia?

"The Who Put The Boot In" at Parkhead, Glasgow in 1976 with The Sensational Ale Harvey Band, Little Feat, The Outlaws, Streetwalkers and Widowmaker. I had gone up with some mates from Newcastle and we missed the last train back. Ended up sleeping on some mail bags on Waverley station.
