Just wondering, I was looking back at pictures from when I was attending The Stone Roses return at Heaton Park, 2012 and thinking it was a bloody great performance.

What's the best concert you've attended?

Probably Larrikin Love in the carling new band's tent at Leeds 2006, had only heard two of their songs via Jo Whiley and nme before and went on my own as my mate's were off to see some band called Kaiser Cheifs on the main stage.
Tent was half full and they kept getting guest mates up from different bands who were there, was around eleven of them on stage by the end and the crowd was bouncing, best gig ever

Too many to mention. Saw a band called White Denim a few years ago and I walked out speechless as they were that good. Most entertainment for money was Dananananaykroyd. Chemical Brothers at Glastonbury was pretty special.

I'm a Stone Roses fan, theyre one of my favourite bands and I saw them at Brid Spa, but I would never claim they were good live.

Best live - for sheer pure emotion probably the Verve reformation gig at Sheffield Leadmill ahead of the release of Urban Hymns. It was the first time they ever played History live, Slide Away was just astonishing and Mad Richard was on fire that night.

Oasis - Knebworth Park 1996. Simply unbeatable. Supported by Chemical Brothers , Prodigy, Manic Street Preachers. It was rocking - amazing day.

my kinda music , SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE !!

ive seen Foals a few times , they do good live sets .
Japandroids really good but the Leeds crowd were a little retrained ,
but Young Knives with Pete and the pirates was my fave , there was a totally ill prepared Mosh pit for knives fans but it was so funny .
    Also Pete was bonkers backstage

I hate big concerts. Personally Id much rather be in a 500 capacity crowd and if I cant catch a band while you can see the whites of their eyes I dont bother.

Oh gonna put this out there...

Michael Jackson in Koln, W Germany. I didn't want to go, the wife made me, but in all honesty he was amazing. Kim Wilde was the support act too, and she was pretty good too.

    Don't judge me.

Either The Stone Roses at Heaton Park last year, or Oasis at Wembley in 2009.

Oasis might edge it, but only because it was likely the only time I'll ever see them - they broke up a few weeks later.

Jesus and Mary chain - they walked out of Leeds uni after 20 minutes - that was not the best but was the most amusing. Even though I'm not a massive fan, Blur at Brixton Academy was ****ing mental - Albarn was on something illegal and the place was pumping.... I've never been at a gig where the whole place has gone off like that

The Stone Roses last summer is by far the best so far, for the experience more than for the music. Although I thought they were pretty damn good.

...just bought some Springsteen tickets so I'm hoping that will surpass everything so far <cool>
