I think you can all see why Jose is a class act. Probably apologising to Fergie for the red card and admitting the better team lost in the interview. He is truly a class act and I really hope he comes back to Chelsea in the summer.

Wasn't a red card at all.

Every fan of every club here would say the same had it been then and of course the rest of us would say it was just to be ****s.

As a couple of people have mentioned, Lopez punching vidic in the head should have been a red by the same principle that nani's was a red. They were both going for the ball, both missed it by being slightly too late. Both caught the player. Both 'could' be classed as dangerous IF they meant it.... but neither did and both were going for the ball. Neither was a red.

 

Very harsh red, wasn't a red, the ref destroyed a beautiful game.

I mean Nani wasn't even looking at the player, say if Nani never took his leg out and let them have the ball and say they went on and scored, Nani would of been dropped and got the hair dryer of Sir Alex.

So if your not allowed to have feet high, then that means all the player's who over head kicks should get send off and every single time a player controls the ball with his leg high then the ref should send them off.

Game plan was working till the red card.

He didn't spot the penalty for Evra neither, or the clear block on Welbeck right on the edge of the box, or the keeper missing the ball and taking out Vidic (if Nani's was a definite red then surely that has to be at least a foul doesn't it? I mean both were clearly going for the ball and both missed and got the man).

For me there were worse tackles than Nani's in that game from both sides. There aren't a lot of neutral agreeing with that call. It was a clear Yellow and instead mr.Referee decided to kill the game.

Anyway plenty to be proud of we had restrained Madrid very well until then and counter-attacked with menace. We played very well against a top class team in both legs, Going out on injustice is more than i expected when i first heard the tie.
