Didn't want to log in today in case I was going to see bad news. Fingers still crossed for Ash, stay strong and fight this mate
****ing hell. Really hope he pulls through and can overcome whatever issue he has. My brother in law took his life two years ago and it left us all devestated, so my thoughts to his family too. From what I have seen on here he is a top, top bloke. Hope this can be looked back on as a moment of madness and all turns out well.
Sad too hear this news and can only say the obvious that I hope he pulls through with a full recovery
Hang on in there Ash and get well soon bud Hit the bottom myself a few years ago then decieded it was time to bounce back up and never looked back. Never spoke to you before but when your better, feel free to contact me if you want to set the world to rights
Thoughts are with the family on this, I'm frankly stunned and I really don't have the words to express how sad I am to hear this. I hope to god Ash pulls through all this, and takes some strength in all the positive messages posted by genuine football fans. He's been part of this forum since the beginning and BBC606 before that, he's part of the parcel of our little community, and we have always pulled together. Sending my positive thoughts to Ash and his wife and friends
I am sure Ash will thank one and all for your kind messages of support, thank you all from myself and i am sure all Swans fans, great when a community can come together in a dim time
I've exhchaned many posts with Ash over the past season or two as well as PM's. It was evident in the support that he provided a member of our board who was having difficulties in his life that Ash himself had first hand experience of these problems. However, he seemed to have largely put those problems behind him and talked positively of his life in mid-Wales, some locations we 'discussed' at length. These recent events suggests that his demons weren't fully behind him and his recent loss brought those to the fore once more. Ash has always been a reasonable poster who visits the Cardiff board regularly. He has always (we forgave him his cup final day outburst) been a positive contributer and a voice of reason between the Cardiff and Swansea boards. This is sad news for us posters but devastating for his family. My sincere hopes are that he pulls through this and recuperates with his wife in God's own country. Best wishes Ash.
Terrible thing to happen to anyone. Hope he can survive and get his life back together. he obviously has a lot of support, which is great to see
seen this thread on my travels and its not what i expected to see on a football forum. this kind of thing puts everything into perspective and reminds us all that although football is our religon, family/friends are our life and comes 1st. so sad to read whats happened and its very emotional stuff. my thoughts and prayers to all involved. and im sure i say that not just from the blue side of bristol but im sure the red side would agree too.
Best wishes from the RRRs. To lose a child is the most awful thing in all the world. My thoughts are with Chico that he recovers and with the rest of his familythe whole family Terrible news..but we pray for a full recovery. Beth
Beth thanks for that, I came to have a look at the forum today to see this awful news, I had to post in support of Ash/Chico who I've known on here and BBC for about 6 years. I'm sure the Rs and swans fans who have been at each others throats will see how petty it all is in reality. Football is just a game, this is about life and reality.
Never a truer word spoken than that mate, shows how little football matters when a tragedy like this happens. Really hoping he pulls through, both him and his family will be in my thoughts.
