Agree 100% I'd be rightly pissed off if we sold ANY player we wanted to keep to united, I'd rather let them rot in the reserves

  2. Any player IMO. I'd have been pissed off if we'd sold them Joe Cole!

I dunno. Voronin I'd have let them have him back then, or rather TripleH as I called him.

If it was true I'd make sure he had a 1 v 1 "accident" with Hunt before then

    Was on Saturday.

On a more general note, how about we delay calling him names until we find out whether there's any substance to the story?

I agree saint. I'm still having a problem getting my head round it. However, he is a really good mate. He wound me up about Suarez back in January, but it only lasted two sentences. He even said he couldn't believe it.

I seem to remember this being bandied about in the rags in January anyway, and nowt came of it. Does your mate have anything more concrete?

United can get their hands on £50million for summer transfers. It's happened before during the Glazer's ownership. The club generates enough money to meet it's debt requirements and invest some on players on an annual basis. Unlike City and Chelsea but you know that already.

There were stories around in the window that De Gea was being lined up by Barcelona, Ferguson is known to be not totally convinced by him & United were linked with a move for Begovic. United turning to an off form (at the time) Reina seems unlikely to me, as does Rodgers or Liverpool sanctioning it. You crucified poor old Roy for praising Ferguson, you'd have probably stoned Brenda to death on the touchline, for selling Reina to United <laugh>

    So in short, you're mate's a cock RHC <ok>

Wrongggggg!!!! We crucified Woy for saying he could not stop Torres going to United.

Of course you'd forgive a new for saying he could not stop Fellaini? going to Liverpool in his first season

But I agree, Reina not going to United, that's a long shot at best but not impossible

OK, you don't actually want to discuss football, you just want to try (and fail!) to get into an argument before crying off to the mods. Got it. Carry on!

No, it was banter, not personal and not offensive, c'mon man keep up.

Now you're trying to be a wum and to be honest I feel let down, poor poor effort.

You can't afford Ronaldo on your means sorry. Fergie and Gill had the rules made but he hasn't gotta go by them it seems, just Chelsea and City

Even though he never said that, but nevermind, the point remains the same.

Rodgers isn't daft enough to risk the ire of the Kop by selling a high profile player to United. He'll always put his own PR first that lad.
