Good evening all,just a quicky. How do you rate your goalkeeper David Stockdale,on loan from us,and would you like to sign him on a permanent basis OLM hope you get premoted. so we can have some more friendly banter roscafre (formally valjing)
Decent not exceptional, I'd rather have Mannone but wouldn't be too thrilled/upset if we got him on a permanent. He's generally steady & reliable unlike the likes of Amos & Gulacsi but does have a slight tendency to parry out into dangerous positions.
Very good goalkeeper. We no longer have to worry about him fumbling things, he is a very stable goalkeeper, and certainly one if the best in the league, who should be in the Premiership (hopefully with us).
Very good at collecting crosses under pressure, different from what we've had recently. His shot stopping leaves a little to be desired though, imo.
decent steady keeper although i think he could have done better with a couple of low shots which he got his hand to but both went in

Evening young man, I hope you're well? As has been said already, he's decent without being exceptional. We've had better, we've had worse. If we sign him I wouldn't be too upset, but I wouldn't be excited either.
He's a better all-round keeper than Myhill I reckon, Mannone was class though. I liked Myhill too. Couldn't complain with any of those three keepers in our goal. Was watching Guzan tonight, class display v Man City, wonder if we came close to signing him at any point. Got a bit of stick on here did Guzan but he looks a top keeper for Villa

Yeah he's ok but I have reservations as to whether he'd be good enough for the PL, hopefully we'll find out in August. I'm pretty sure that if we do go up that he'll have some competition for his place
Very confident for crosses and good handling/punching decision making and technique. Very good distribution of kicks, hitting Elmo on the right wing at every opportunity. His weakness is shot-stopping, he is not brilliant at getting down low and keeping the ball out with a strong hand. However I definitely rate him as a keeper and would be happy to keep him in the Premiership, but he may face competition for the number one spot if we made a signing.
