    Derby day comes - we only have 2 choices - lose and stay up or win and go down......

    What would you rather? (Open to both sets of fans that come on here)

    Personally it's a head vs heart debate - my heart really wants us to win at all costs

    My head - Stay in the PL at all costs - so in other words I'm on the fence!!!

    If I had to make a decision, I'd go with my head and take the short term piss taking at work

    Errm....... lose and stay up....obviously! Personally a relegation hurts alot more than a derby defeat although over the years i have become alot more numb to both!!!!

    Hurt as a derby defeat undoubtedly would; personally I would rather stop up every day of the week..

    Lose and stay up. It's a sad fact but football in this day and age is all about the prem and the money playing in it generates. Any club with ambitions of doing anything has to be in the prem.

    I dont really understand the question as mathematically this situation could never happen. If it did however i would definately be a mag for the day.

    If we had to lose to stay up, apart from being thoroughly confused, I would vote for staying up. If you asked the mags which they preferred: losing to us and sending us down or winning and keeping us up, they'd go for the former, I'm sure.

    It's a no brainer really. Lose and stay up and live to fight another day, win and go down and there would be no derby next season so it has to be LOSE.
