He needs a solid helper up front, a Sheringham to his Shearer if you will. I'm hopeful he has bags of goals in him but from what I've seen he feeds off the killer pass that can split either the two CBs or get in between the CB and the LB/RB so requires a bit of help. Remy's got a good turn of pace and can latch onto a decent pass so if this is what suits him then maybe we have to play to his strengths. Sad to see Adel on the bench but we can't be sentimental if it means we win games although I'd like us to manage both victories and make use of Adel.

I'm with you, Jeff. He also played a wonderful ball to Remy from the right and just over the halfway line in the second half. Given Zamora's fitness issues, I personally would not gamble with him; a move that would effectively mean that Redknapp would always have to have in mind the need to replace him at some point in the game. Perhaps have him on the bench if he can manage 20 mins?
