I have always liked Luke as he is a trier and he does score goals when he actually gets games. I personally want to see him start more games and not bench warm for the rest of the season...We are safe now so give the guy some playing time now...

In a word Dai yes. Been thinking the same myself for a while now, looks a classy player to me and should be given a chance

We have got 10 games left and cant rely on the same players all the time. I would certainly give him more game time as a striker, not the midfield role he sometimes plays.

Most definitely , he brings so much more (like it) to the team than Schecter can and is hard to knock off the ball with good eye for a goal, he took his well yesterday ,by playing him would put Michu back in his preferred midfield role and give us more of a threat in front of goal.

Ahead of Schecter every time, we should try and get the best out of him and that means using more of him. He is criticised for the lack of passion but just look at his reaction when he scored!

I'm getting worried now, I'm agreeing with everything Dai says lately.

Dai, you know I'd be one of the first to knock you so it's only fair that I tell you that I think your posts, threads and attitude shown to others has been first class recently. Long may it continue I have enjoyed reading and agreed with everything you've been saying lately.

Well normally I would not agree, but as we are out of options, think he should and probably will get more starts, the only other option is shec, and that's a none starter!...........<ok>

As I posted on sfter yesterday's game - Moore should play a lot (more) not because of his skills but because of what it will allow Michu and the rest of the midfield to do.

Definitely give him a majority of the games left and it could save us a fortune if he comes in and bangs the goals in. it might happen

Luke is capable of some sublime touches, see Michu's first goal v Arsenal in the league game at the Emorates easrlier this season. Would be good to see a bit more of him, although with Laudrup looking to push on I feel he could still be limited to substitute appearances.

My only criticism of luke Moore, is that he simply is not aggressive enough, he clearly does not have the hunger for scoring as Michu does, matter of fact Michu displays all the characteristics of a Striker not midfielder!................<ok>

I actually like Luke, think he has bags of talent, just wish he would apply himself a bit more.

Sorry I still prefer the 3 wingers and michu upfront, it tore Newcastle a new one till they where allowed to literally kick us off the ball. But if we do need to beef up our midfield then it's a good option to drop michu back and play him upfront as a sub. Why change a winning lineup? (The only reason it didn't work against Newcastle all game is because they where kicking our players left right and centre)

Since Dany left weve suffered a bit not having a good out and out striker but it just shows wot a difference it will make when ML gets one in the summer. Till then i would rather More up there when we need him as i think hes got goals in him and will thrive when his confidence rises a bit more.

maybe not start him but certainly more time on the park, prefer michu as an AM, but start as a striker, interesting conundrum

Yes he should, but in reality I see him only coming off the bench unless Michu gets a knock. ML will stick with the 3 winger option or replacing that with the more defensive Leon, Ki, JDG central partnership. Games will be back to 1 a week maximum, with some week breaks and rotation may not be so neccessary.

At least this weekend will hopefully ditch any remainding thoughts that ML will pick Itay ahead of him as his go to sub.

What I really like about all the above posts is this: We now clearly have a plan A, B, C, and maybe D. Often within the same game.

How refreshing is that? Teams have no idea what to expect from us this season - in stark contrast to last year, where our card was definitely marked. Remember the job Newcastle did on us last year? Different story now!!!!

We're on a fantastic journey here. It keeps on getting better and better. At this rate, with some top signings in the summer, who knows how far we can go... Champions League anyone?
