I'm hoping to get a season card for next season and I heard the announcer yesterday talking about prices and offers but I was too busy yapping I didn't quite hear what he said.

Did anyone hear? If so what was said?

    Thanks :)

They're about to go on sale and the prices have been frozen as long as you renew immediately.

They go on sale from March 11th, and the prices stay frozen until April 16th(?)

After we have gained promotion,a decision will be made as to whether there should be a price increase.

Prices should be frozen even if we get promotion, we need to be selling 20,000 passes or however many it was, like we did last time we got promoted.

We weren't selling out some games in the last PL season, so pricing people out isn't the wisest move.

Frozen at what though? I paid £380 for mine in the discount period last season but would have had to fork out about £480 if I'd bought it in August. £480 would not be a price freeze to me!

I expect youd' be right there, and maybe there should be. It would only be right for those who are going to buy passes just so they can watch Rooney 'et al,ponce around the Circle....scoring loads of goals against us and that.

Agreed. Yes there might be some who simply can't buy before the freeze deadline but for the majority of people the offer is there of a price freeze if you're prepared to risk it not knowing what league we'll be in. In simple terms it makes sense that a guaranteed PL side costs more than a maybe-PL, maybe-Championship side.

Or run onto the pitch at the end to give their hero Stevie G a hug

Existing season ticket holders will get a renewal form through the post this week I assume and the ticket price will be held at whatever price you paid this season.

So, if you renewed or bought your ticket in phase 1 last season, you will pay the same price this for 13/14.

I assume that if you bought your season ticket in phase 2 or 3 this season, when they were more expensive, your price will be held at that rate?

I’ve emailed the ticket office this morning to find out some more information as I only paid £390 for 11/12 and I wasn’t able to renew for this season, but will be doing so as soon as they go back in sale next week and I want to know how much it’s going to be.

I think there is a new website being launched on Monday to take care of new applications although that wasn’t printed in the programme the stadium bloke announced that on Saturday.

Unfortunately, if you didn't renew this season and we get promoted then you will pay a higher price

If you become a new season ticket holder before the 16th April then you will pay the frozen price from this season; it's just what price they are frozen at that doesn't seem to have been announced as there were 3 phases this season with a higher price each time.

From Nick Thompson "In the first phase, which will have people making a decision when we don't know which league we're going to be in, our intention is to keep prices frozen.

"If you renew in the first phase or buy a new ticket, the price will still be the same as 2012-13"

Could do with freezing prices whatever division we find ourselves in - my East Stand pass was £390 and it should stay below 400 quid IMO.

An earlier poster said we didn't sell out in the PL - I certainly thought we did. Only the away support reduced the numbers as I recall.

With 25,400+ seats in the ground we have to save about 10% for away fans, and then a further 10% for matchday sales so the season ticket sales are capped at around 20,500. As far as I'm aware the season tickets were sold out both seasons, and any falls in attendances were from the 2 batches of around 2,500.

No online payment option though? Is that missing a trick or is the link just a bit hidden?
