What a suprise we are linked with the lad yet again and fingers crossed we can push a deal through and bring the lad to the Stadium of Light. He would offer us goals from midfield, he can play both wings, can take a set piece and aswell as scoring goals he can create chances for others, I would hope Brucie makes this lad top priority in the summer the lad is easily worth 12m+ A midfield containing N'Zogbia and Sessegnon is mouthwatering. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...Wigans-Charles-NZogbia.html?ito=feeds-newsxml
Poolie Bruce wants to buy an almost entire team, and he will still **** it up,,,,,,,zogbia will have a hamstring condition,,,,,,,,,,,till 2012, not the players, the manager.
6 Clubs after him now. we may be to late like we were with Adam Johnson we should have paid the money for N`Zog last August. http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/new...derland-Newcastle-Juventus-article737852.html
agreed mate we always seem to leave it to late and have missed out big style on a couple of occasions Adam Johnston being the big example, stop messing about get a bid in straight away even if we pay a couple of million over his value he is 24 and is getting better all the time it isn't as if he is coming towards the end of his career
I Don't think we are in a position to compete for him if the list of clubs after him is true. This list includes Liverpool and Villa so it seems we will miss the bus yet again.
With the likes of Liverpool and Spurs around theres no way he will come up here and if you were him its not a hard decision to go and play for a team challenging for the top4 and in Europe than Sunderland who lets face it are going to be no more than mid table next season, sad but its true, N'zogbia is at the stage where he needs to proove himself at a higher level than Wigan but unfortunatley not us.
Hope we do have a deal in place because love him or hate him we do need some new blood. THe kind of numbers being bandied would mean a hectic summer of activity in the transfer market and I doubt that we could complete all the negotiations for seven or eight players. If that is the kind of number we are looking for then it seems to me we would need to have three or four stitched up already.
N'zog would be a good signing for us but I completely agree with this thread. Its a no brainer for the lad. Come to us or play for one of Europes top clubs in Liverpool and who are in European competition NOW, or in London for one of the new emerging clubs in Spurs. Unless Bruce has powers of persusassion yet to be seen, we aint getting N'zog this close season. We missed boat on this one as well last summer by not offering the price required as we did with Johnson. However, if the money is too rich theres no shame in walking away form the deal. We are not Man City after all.
