  1. Definitely the simplest way, plus it provides a physical connection. If you get the one with WIFI bridging it can be used to boost the WIFI signal in other areas of the house too although this version is about £60-£70 rather than the £30 for a standard version. In addition, you can add more access points to this system too (ie, you only need one input into the power lines but can have as many outputs as you like)

Sorry for being a bit slow here but step by step. I have a poor wifi connection in my back room where my xbox is fine everywhere else. If I use these adapters all I have to do is plug one in each room and I get a better connection. Is that right?

  3. If the WIFI is fine everywhere else and you have no need for a connection anywhere else then you just need a twin set. Plug one in near your router (using an ethernet cable to link the two) and the other near the xbox (using an ethernet cable to link the two). That is all you need to do <ok>

  6. The console wouldn't make a different, my issue is having a connection in the first place! Or does PS3 have built in WIFI? (I know some versions of xbox do but I bought the arcade version <doh>)

I am pretty sure mine does, but I think as someone said, I have it also connected regardless just for better stream and fluidity.

Bought Red Dead Redemption for £8.99 on Xbox, when does it start getting good? Seems a bit slow paced atm.

  17. Recently ordered some tickets via ebay and unexpectedly there were three DVD's in the envelope too, one of them was The Sweeney. Not seen it though, nor were the tickets for me so I passed it on <grr>

Red Dawn - New version of the classic film and it's a let down but was always going to be. It's not a bad film if you like action movies but don't go expecting to much.
