Huge 3 pts there, back upto 7th in the league and hit our 40pts target. Just need Martinez to do a number on Liverpool later and its a good day for us.
I enjoy an ugly win as much as pretty win. We are getting 'tougher' with each game and these performances will help us for when we are travelling across Europe next season. Fantastic run and guts effort by the lads considering the week we have had. I would have settled for a point this week given the heroics of Wembley. Oh and the Cardiff Dragons are choking again
Absolutely gutted we come away with nothing. We battered you in the 2nd half however you took us down on the first. Was hopeful for a point and but for some woeful defending we would have got it. You guys impressed me (again!) They say your target is 50 points..... I'd have thought 55 was more realistic. Definitely on for a top 7 finish at least.
There were beautiful moments in the first half though. But yeah second half didn't look so hot and the clumsy goal kinda underlined that
That was a pretty hard one to take from a Newcastle fans perspective so please excuse some of our fans responses. You played some unbelievable stuff for about 20 mins in the first half, (if I was a neutral I would have applauded) but I did feel we did enough to atleast earn a draw especially 2nd half. Anyways I like Swansea, I love your manager, but just a tough one for us to take today
NUFC I know where your coming from. We've done it ourselves this season out playing teams and getting nothing. Good luck for the rest of the season not that you need it.
very gracious comments from Geordie fans considering they at least deserved a draw but i ll take the 3 points anyday and more importantly we have reached the magic 40 points way ahead of schedule - fantastic time to be a Jack!!
Haha, yer its such a horrible feeling because you just know the opposition will take advantage of your teams failure in front of goal. Like I said though I do like your club. You are much better going forward than last year. When we beat you 2-0 at your place although you had loads of possession, I honestly didn't think you'd score. Laudrup has taken you to another level. Thanks for the kind words, we are a much better side than we were before Jan. We just need the main man Ben Arfa back!!
A few seasons ago we would have lost games like that or at best drew....I found this win more satisfying than the Bradford win because of the way we never lied down and go to absolute pieces. It was ugly and unorthodox at times especially in the latter stages and I would not have complained if it ended in a draw but we have been on the end of them games ourselves and got nothing so it was good to see us hang on and get all three points......very satisfying...
