Bit negative there mate. I felt like this after we lost 4-1 to bolton last week and then we win 5-2. Still a long way to go if you go on a good run from now till the end of the season then you never know and this is from a Hull fan
Eleven defeats now though. What's the higher number of defeats for a promoted side? I don't think we can lose another and with Watford, Cardiff and Brighton and Forest away (where we never get anything) I can't see that happening. It's going to take something sensational now. Still, we have a good chance in the play-offs.
Definately not a game for the football purist but we just wanted it more than you boys today and Mick has got this team to work hard and fight for everything. Our defence is now as solid as anyone's and in Chambers and Smith we have 2 Centre Backs amongst the best currently in this division. You put 6 past us in November and I think that definately spurred us on to compete and win today. A huge 3 points for us and the Mick McCarthy revolution continues!
