Is it just me or was Pardew having a sly dig at HBA for not being as fit as he thought he should be? Great morale booster for one of our top players if he was.

 

Pards sometimes loses the plot, opens his mouth and lets garbage come out.

Leaving SJP at 05.00 AM and no, I won't be going to this one, I'm going to be giving all the very early starts and late departures a miss.

It means leaving home at an unearthly hour and often having to use a taxi to get to the ground in time and then get a taxi home after being dropped off in town.

My 100% record is in tatters.

 

Great game in prospect, lads and a tough one for us. I don't think Wembley will have done us any favours, though. We were offered the freedom of the park to strut our stuff and we duly obliged, which is no preparation to face a talented team like Toon. I fear a post match reaction, a hangover.

We will have to up our game to compete and, if we don't, we will lose. You have some good players who can hurt us if we allow it and I've got to admit I am concerned about this one. I still fancy us by the odd goal in a tight game but, if I was offered a draw right now, I'd take it.

Long way for the travelling Toon. I wish you all a safe journey but hope you don't enjoy the game too much.

 

Hell of a journey down last season but got a great reception from all the Swansea supporters who'd turned up early. All asking about our journey down and asking what we thought our chances were etc etc, everybody had lots to talk about and were very friendly.

A good bunch.

Will be tight this one. We need to keep our shape and be patient. We know we will concede a lot of possesion, so we need tiote on his game breaking play up but feeding our players as soon as he wins a ball and not piss fart about. The longer it goes at nil nil, the more open they will be to the counter. Tiote will be key for me.

 

Couple of the Swansea lads were telling me they've reduced the away allocation to allow for all the Swansea plastics that've never been to the Liberty before who want to see the Cup paraded. They said they'd rather have 500 more of us in there because 'you lot make some ****ing noise, fair do's'

Morning Magpies and Swans. Should be a good match. And after a couple if decent results it's the first time in a while that I'm actually looking forward to a game rather than just being nervous about the outcome. I'd be happy with an entertaining 2-2 draw.

Therefore my weekly incorrect bias prediction is....

...3-1 Swansea win with Michu grabbing 2 goals, changing his usual celebration and gets his tits oot for Gandalf. Also, at 68 minutes, Olive from on the buses will get arrested, due to her worsening eyesight she will run onto the pitch and makes a b-line for Ben Arfa.

 

What odds are Paddy Power offering on that lot all coming true?
