The boys deserve our support. Saying no just to get back at WYP is cutting out the nose to spite the face. People wanti go and some would have gone with Tiger Travel anyway. Why should they be deprived?

Yes WYP are incompetet idiots and yes what they've done is a piss take but if I had to unicycle here and dress like a ****ing monkey the. I would because I'll do what needs to be done to go and support the boys in person. Those saying that that is treachery or akin to being a scab, grow up

So you really think anyone that's going under those conditions will be up to singing and flag waving?

It wouldn't be funny, it'd be embarrassing because they'd effectively have eaten the **** and be complaining they're still hungry.

I won't be buying a ticket, there were four of us planning on going to the game but well just watch it on telly in town now.

Tiger Travel types are hardly the hard core support. If you go it's your choice, but yes, you would be akin to being a scab.

I don't give a **** what Bruce says. In 5 years, when he's buggered off or been sacked, we fans will be the ones being forced onto coaches and followed by pigs at every away game where more than one man and his dog want a ticket.

You know what I agree but what's the alternative? 600 fans turn up, sky don't bat an eyelid, no media attention, gets forgotton about in 2 weeks the police are delighted and report that this will not be precedent for all future Hull games in the region. Great, rather do something **** than nothing.

Going IS doing exactly nothing. Not going AND joining any protests etc is the only way forward. Eat **** now and that'll be the best thing on the menu for the future.

The point of this thread is to show the club that THEY should hear what fans are saying and RAM the TICKETS, not just cuddle the tartan slipper types.

True enough, but I still think it will have a major bearing on what people do.

One thing that did surprise me, is the bloke from the OSC on Blunderside tonight, saying it was still unacceptable and the tickets should be returned.

Yea but the less fans that go the happier the police are about it!? The point of a total boycott is that it brings attention to them, individuals not turning up will have no affect what so ever. It will only hurt our team and HTFC's pocket.

You seem to be just looking at this one game in isolation as well as a boycott being the only thing happening. It's far, far bigger than that.

I agree, but I certainly won't be one of them. The one thing I've drawn from this debacle, Lamby, is that City fans - in fact, the English in general - are a breed of subservient ***gots and morons

I disagree, nobody turning up would make a bigger statement than any other course of action.

The problem is, that nobody turning up is almost certainly not going to happen.

We'll still support City, one match doesn't mean anything.

It will draw attention to the situation because the tv will say why the stand is empty (if it happens and we send them back).

And Huddersfield will have Sky's money to get over it.

There are certainly a number that seem to match your description. The resignation of some is embarrassing.

I totally understand peoples anger and frustration with WYP but honestly, from me its a no. Supporting the club is more important, especially at this stage of the season and the situation we're in. Plus, its one game, and if we get promoted, we won't have to endure the WYP for a long time. This wouldnt happen in the PL so I'd rather we just sucked it up, take the whole 1700 allocation and hope against all hope (I'm not actually hopeful...) that there is no trouble, we win 7-0 and that we can just move on and up. Plus if you think a boycott will make one iota of difference, you're mistaken.

You lot on here boycotting the game won't matter, can pretty much guarantee that the supporters who usually use the buses will go anyhow. I'd say there will be at least 500 there at worst. I aint happy about having to park up and meet in a sodding car park, and if anything happens to my car WYP will be getting the bill for it, but it's slightly better than the alternative.

So for me, Hull City AFC > Futile gestures against WYP.

I can go on a corporate or in the away end so I'm going either way.

The comment that those that do go on tiger travel are not the 'hard core', the insinuation being they're somehow not 'proper fans' is pathetic. Each to their own but anyone who slates people who want to go, particualrly when those fans would have gone on tiger travel anyway, need to get their head out their arse.

Cane the WYP by all means but having a go a people who want to support the team? Wind it in

I have an idea in my own head of what certain posters look like.

Others I have no idea, non at all.

In a moment of clarity tonight DMD came to me.

In my mind DMD now looks like Arthur Scargill.

    One out, all out.

    Red wedge forever.
