    Am I right in thinking Elmo has got engaged to Meyler?

    That would be a turn up for the books to say the least, fair play though, it is 2013 after all.

    It's a racial slur against our Arabic winger. 'Monko' is Irelandish for 'monkey'.

    It can mean **** in Japanese, but I suspect that's not the context he was using it in.

    I haven't used it all that often to be honest.

    Monko means 'big man' or 'the man'. They use it all the times in their tweets, usually in the 'you da man' context

    Yeah sorry I meant the 'congratulations' part not the 'Monko', but anyway it would seem that it was about Elmo's marriage. Surely though it would have been better if he had it on a Monday/Tuesday as he may not be fully up for Saturday now. Although depending on how strongly Muslim he is he shouldn't have a hangover.

    he got married yesterday in cairo in a famous hotel in Zamalek area also he was in cairo since last monday and he has a whole week off
    i am actually surprised of the timing and the club agreeing to let him take a week off now !
