Premier League dirtiest players - 2 Grant Holt - Norwich http://sport.uk.msn.com/football/premier-league-dirtiest-players#image=20
Bradley Johnson makes number 7 too. To be honest, most of the top 10 are all target-men types, or tough-tackling midfielders, or Suarez. I'd also be more worried about the number of bookings that fouls. Holt has 60 fouls but only 3 bookings, and most of his fouls are just competing for aerial balls.
Agree with DH about Holt. IMO, he's improved his game incredibly in this regard. Used to collect unnecessary yellows regularly, leading to suspensions and even the odd red card suspension. It'd be interesting to know how many fouls he's drawn so far this season. I dislike this adjective 'dirtiest' for players who have to get stuck in as part of their role. This is even more true of Holt when he is playing as the lone striker. A list of yellows and reds is a more accurate picture, IMO. I'm pretty sure the Stoke players would show up on that list, Suffolk!
So of all the hardworking players in the league who aren't afraid to get stuck in and challenge for the ball, without getting to the point of unfair play where referees see the need to card them constantly... ...we've got two in the top 10. Great. Can we have some more please?
