I'm waiting for Uri Geller to get his spoons out and start bending them round his old boy in an attempt to help Reading avoid relegation like he usually does
You have to admire his optimism I remember he claimed once that his chubby mate on a exercise bike could cycle quicker then a sports car it was quite a cringeworthy bit of TV.
Peter Doherty brilliant fool incredible talent but just like many before a slave to the wrong things in my day it was Paul Kossoff from Free brilliant but sadly no longer here damn he would have only been 6 years older than me!
Drugs has always been a huge part of music, arguably been the reason for such good music sometimes. But today we live in a tabloid world where someone with genuine talent gets hammered for taking drugs and David Guetta gets the number one for sticking a generic beat on some meaningless lyrics. Sorry to tail of the thread a little bit, but rant over now. Big man on music, and hate manufactured pop which seems to be most successful at the minute. Anyway, i think the most embarrassing fan is Piers Morgan to be honest. He is a total knob and seems a fickle and ignorant football fan.
Probably going to shock a few people here, but whilst I agree that Piers Morgan is a total knob, his ITV series of "Life Story" is always good viewing, he knows what questions to ask, I always get very moved by whoever the story is about, even if it's someone I would normally avoid! <waitsforhandgrenades>
Will all be fine Dave if one day one of his victims of his rude style of questioning just decks him good and proper
Dave just watch this and tell me Piers Morgan isn't a knob? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21621116 He makes out he knows a lot about football throughout, but with our review fails to mention we are on a four match unbeaten run and thinks we'll lose 4-0 with two goals from Rooney and RVP. I realise I could shoot myself in the foot here, but with Madrid around the corner will they really play both those two? Personally I doubt it. We'll see on Saturday but I think he is generally pig ignorant as a football fan. Maybe slightly harsh on him for that video. On life stories, I liked the Frank Bruno one but not really watched it unless I've been interested in the guest. Not interested in Kerry Katona or Bianca Westwood.
In all fairness I also didn't want Forster back but wasn't posting on here at that point. I think majority of fans on here thought Ruddy was a good keeper, even early on, generally I would say we're all a knowledgeable bunch and at least give players a chance.
Not worth a thread on its own, so 'embarrassing fans' seemed appropriate. What a rasping drive with that bare right foot !! I'm sure sombody somewhere (other than the keeper) was suitably embarrassed?
