Back to topic. I regret to say, even allowing for the 'Wall's iffy history, the amount of segregation & what plod insist on putting in place to ensure that they don't actually have to do anything to earn their overtime is getting silly. If the 'Wall were allowed to bring 2k fans, how long would it take to ensure no knives, flares, guns, dodgy Turkey-inspired posters? Do they really need to pick up tickets on route if they're only selling tickets to I/D carrying club members?
It pisses me off as I live about 3 hours away from Leeds and have to get up early (again). Been to too many 12/12.30 matches this season without just cause. 12.30 k/o and Millwall are only bringing 70 people I hear?
Are they really only bringing 70 fans? Yet there will still be 100s of plod & a pathetic effort for them to pick up their tickets. They're no angels, but this is starting to get really silly. That old joke about... for the benefit of the team, here are the crowd changes, suddely starts to take on a whole new meaning.
Sorry 90. Source is Phil Hay on Twitter. ''Due to police restrictions, Millwall have sold around 90 tickets" Does this justify a 12.30 KO?''.
