I'm not moaning at Harry or anyone mate, I agree it wasn't easy to bring in new strikers, and avoid Nelsen leaving. Nevertheless, it is hard to be optimistic now, all cred to you that you still seem to be! The big hope for me is that Adel hits top form, links up well with a fit Remy, and as I think Col said, Hoillet too, and we start to score buckets of goals, while remaining solid at the back. We will also need to get more bodies in the opposition box than we have been. That we have an easier run doesn't make me very hopeful as we are normally cr*p against the weaker teams, but this has got to change one day, lets hope it's now. Thanks for your post I'm feeling a bit more optimistic already!
I rate Harry as a manager & hope he stays. And I accept the fact that he inherited an absolute mess. But he's been in a while, had a transfer window and the buck stops with him now, and what we are producing on the pitch is beyond crap. When he arrived I said good, at least if we go down, we'll go having had a go, but all he's done so far is turn us into Queens Park The Bus Rangers , and I have to admit, I'm sick of it.
I feel exactly the same at the minute, we are not taking the game to the opposition and going down without a whimper. On top of that we are boring for the fans to watch
Yep. This is the bit that's most difficult to understand. At this stage a defensive approach is no longer going to be enough and we may as well go down fighting. We have no hope unless we get players in the opposition box.
