Funny rant from DL about Rafa even if it omits his time as manager of CD Tenerife.

Didn't DL say that Rafa had achieved more in football than Fergie?

At least he's finally realised how lucky Benitez was at Valencia. All that bollocks about him 'breaking up' the Real and Barca monopoly is horse **** - Deportivo managed it two years before he did. And winning La Liga with 72 points is more embarrassing than an achievement - pretty sure the last time SAF finished with that few points was 1991.

He managed to make Chavski even more unpopular which is quite an achievement.

I don't remember any club even trying to temp the alcoholic away from OT, not that he'd ever have the balls to leave<laugh>

Rafa hasn't shat his pants and hid at one club for decades, most seasons with Sky United weren't even a challenge with Uniteds off the field influence but still Fergie sat tight and failed totally to join Europe's elite clubs<ok> Rafa has gone from Spain to England, to Italy and back to England.

He's certainly had more stones than bacon face ever will and has been offered far more jobs than bacon face.

Bacon face is to European football what Tim Henman is to world Tennis

    Interesting although incredibly flawed theory.

What's your take on the two Evertonians pissing their careers away at Liverpool?

Well said. I needed a good laugh. <ok>

You say he's gone from Spain to England to Italy and then back to England. He's failed 3/4 places. Clearly that makes him a great manager and better than Fergie in every aspect of football.
