Every board is different.......it was decided by the majority on the saints board thay you only wanted one match day thread to give it as large a covering as possible. If it was a decent enough thread then I would promote it to Newsnow for world wide coverage. Sometimes in the past we have had a couple or three and it has been necessary to merge them into one. Also we can only sticky one......... again a majority decision.
We only have one match thread but we also now have a 'team for .........' thread. Am I the only person who feels that the match thread and "team for" thread should be the same thing? Surely discussion about team and formation would come under pre-match discussion?
Reason for the team thread is that Monday/Tuesday had previously been considered too early for a match thread. Happy to go with a majority view.
I personally don't see mon/tues as too early- if people want to discuss the (next) match then presumably its not too early?
Guys the discussion has been had in regards to the Match thread and the days of posting. There has not been any complaints in regards to the " The team for" and is a relatively new topic especially this season. As for the days of starting match threads there have been many complaints and discussions in regards to these topics and we see no reason to go all through it again. Lovelocom.....why don't you ask the posters if you can do the next one if your that keen, I am sure they will oblige. Just as someone else did a short while ago. If there is a free for all again on match day threads as there was before....yes they will get deleted. It is not going to become a competition. All you need to do is talk to each other and work it out......In the last two years there has not been a problem with this process...and we will not allow one to start now!
Is this the match thread or a thread about match threads? Any one else worried that Arry may have the perfect striker to counter our pressing game in Remy? We will press all game and get caught out by one ball over the top and a straight sprint between Remy and Hooiveld. Ever the optismist, been a saints fan for too long!
Press Conference tomorrow: Mauricio Pochettino and Morgan Schneiderlin Matchday Programme Interview: Artur Boruc
Morgan has become very much more high profile this season. I wonder if he's being groomed for the Captaincy, sooner rather than later.
Couldn't agree more. After our great win against and our unlucky defeat against Newcastle we really need 3points on Saturday
3-1, Lallana from open play, Lambert from the spot, after Samba scythes down an unsuspecting attacker, Remy to make it close, Lambert again to put it away.
