When will we see the likes of Max Clark come through? I assume he will be playing Leicester tonight.

He is playing tonight, I think he's only just 17, so might have a year or two to wait yet.

Or 8, before he eventually gets a loan move...

Starting XI is Jakupovic, Rosenior, Aimson, East, Gordon, Stewart, Armstrong, Wilson, McElroy, Cairney, Margetts.

I remember being really "excited" when we signed Stewart permanently. A real coup considering how good he was at running at defenders and he seemed to ooze confidence! Then he got injured and that was it, game over! Amazing how much an injury can take from someones game....not even talking about the physical side but also the mental.

Guaranteed he will hit form again once we've sold him :emoticon-0119-puke:

Maybe somebody should get Bruce to take a look at the video, might realise he has a player that needs a bit of work but could make some difference without a transfer fee involved, would make up for the money spunked on Prozzy

Do you have an idea what positions those younger lads play? Having Rosenior and East in the same side seems strange and where's the second striker? It's not Cairney again is it? <laugh>

If he's basing team selection on the training then thats right, but maybe he has never shown that ability in training so its kind of Catch22. Could be confidence gone or mental issues due to the injury, it was a pretty bad one after all.

    We're 3-0 up.

Would you believe Rosenior got the first? <yikes>

    Stewart got the second.

And Margetts just tapped in from an unselfish ball from Cairney.

    All courtesy of Phil Buckingham.

Bloody hell Rosy scoring well done lad! Cheers for that. I kind of agree its a shame he's not starting but the players at the moment all deserve it a bit more despite the last result.

Grimsby 1 #hcafc 4. Soon after hosts pull a goal back, McCaffrey gets City's 4th after excellent work from Tom Cairney.

Is that Rosey's first ever goal in a Hull City shirt?

Nevermind Rosie scoring his first for Hull City, his job is to defend imo. But Stewart actually scoring a goal <yikes> <yikes> <yikes>

Good result for the lads. Lets hope that the kids can do Lesta tonight in the youth cup game. <ok>

East has played right back, right wing and central midfield for the ressies and I assume Cairney is playing behind Margetts.

McElroy's a left back, Aimson's a centre back, Wilson normally plays central midfield, but can play wide(ditto Emerton), not sure about the others.

I'm going to knock up a few t-shirts. 'I was there when Liam Rosenior scored'.

Armstrong can plan CM or either wing. Aimson looks handy, probably the next youth to break through from his age group.
